Ok...so not even here for 24 hours and we had an ice storm. WTF? My car is covered in over an inch of ice. Sheesh. Now I remember why I love Atlanta so much, aside from the people.
Mom and I went to the store last night and the people...Oh Gods, the inane wastes of human flesh. I have to remember that Indiana is about 10 years and a multitude of IQ points behind those people that I know in the Atl. area. Accckkkk, hairball.
We are just taking it easy today, relaxing and eating Mom's homemade mac and shrimp salad. Yummmm. Gonna gain back the little weight I have already lost in a just a weekend. The sacrifice...hahahaha.
Love to all.

Ice Ice, Baby...
Date: 2004-01-18 08:53 am (UTC)If water is life, then ice must be life in stasis. I remember ice storms on the farm where I grew up. Looking out across the hills, all was still. The cold of the air brisk and exciting. All was still and in that stillness was retreat and awakenings.
Have a safe and refreshing trip!

*sigh* Nostalgia.
