I know it has been a while, so for those who are interested...
Whew, let's see... Been super busy at work this past week. The Dr. I work with is on vacation...cruise. Arrgggg. Getting ready for SECO (South Eastern Conference of Optometry) in a couple of weeks. I am scheduled to take classes this year and will have to be there for 4 days straight with a total of 15 (no, that is not a typo..errrr) classes. I didn't schedule them. The owner of our practice did. If it were me, I would've scheduled a bit more time to spend in the exhibits. I am pretty psyched about going this year tho. It's a whole new ballgame to go and take the classes with a certification.
I went to the doctor yesterday, just for a wellness visit and get refills on my meds. I saw a wonderful FPN. Talked to her for about a half an hour, never had to take my clothes off or have a pap, and got all the prescriptions I was asking for. Woohoo! She even listened to me. That's a first. Doctors really hate it when you know more than the average bear. But she seems to totally respect the fact I know my own body and have been thru enough to know what works and what doesn't.
The men in our household got the tummy virus ickies...so I am staying away. Gods help me if I get it....too much planned this weekend.
